Agurksalat

This recipe is good as a small side or on a sandwich. The result is not quite a cucumber, not yet a pickle.

Ingredients:

1/2 cucumber
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
Dill
Vinegar

1. Put the slices of cucumber in a bowl with coarse salt and something heavy onto (like a jar of something). After about an hour the bowl will be filled with salty water. Drain it out.
2. Put the salt and sugar in the jar with a few tablespoons of vinegar. Let it all dissolve.
3. Now put the dill and cucumbers in, and fill with vinegar.
4. The longer you let this sit in the fridge, the stronger it will taste.
